If the bartender wants to seve you but you have to pause and think about what to order, they'll move on to the next costumer. It pas to be prepared.
PLAY UP YOUR GOOD LOOKS.
You're trying to get the bartender's attention, so you need to stand out.
ASSIGN ONE PERSON TO ORDER THE DRINKS IF YOU'RE WITH A GROUP.
It makes more sense than having multiple people from the same group compete with one another for the bartender's good graces. Send anoher person along to help carry the drinks back from the bar.
ALWAYS TIP THE BARTENDER.
A good tip is the key to keeping the bartender's service. Some people tip a dollar or two for each drink. Others prefer to leave a very large tip the first time they order a drink so that bartender remembers them.
STANDS AT THE BAR AND LEAN TOWARD THE BARTENDER WITH YOUR MONEY IN HAND.
Don't wave it around or point,just make sure the bartender can see you have money to spend. A large bill is better, as bartender will assume you're ordering multiple drinks and will therefore give a large tip.
BE POLITE AND RESPECTFUL.
Bartender are people just like everyone else, and they don't appreciate being yelled at or insulted. Maintan a good sense of humor about the wait, smile and make eye contact with the bartender.
